Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
Held annually in April at the Empire Polo Club, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Drawing some of the biggest artists in music, Coachella is held over two of the biggest weekends in the desert. We’re located just a short 15-minute drive away, which makes it very easy to drive over to the festival grounds. Or take advantage of one of the close shuttle stops and don’t hassle with parking. Either way, our home is a wonderful option to stay for Coachella.
Stagecoach Festival
The biggest country music festival in the world, Stagecoach happens every year on the same site as Coachella the weekend after.
The Indian Wells Masters
The Indian Wells Masters is one of the biggest tennis tournaments of the year. It is often referred to as the ‘Fifth Grand Slam’. Held every year in March, the tournament attracts major crowds at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, which is less than 10 minutes from Port Royal!
Palm Springs International Film Festival
Known for its award ceremonies with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, the Palm Springs International Film Festival regularly attracts more than 100,000 visitors. It is held annually in January at various screening venues across the Palm Springs area. Enjoy your time at the festival in Palm Springs, and then retreat to paradise at Port Royal each night just a quick 20-minute drive away!
Modernism Week
Modernism Week is held every year in February, with an additional “Mini” Modernism Week in October. Celebrating and appreciating the mid-century modern era, Modernism Week offers many educational opportunities and activities including the opening of significant architectural buildings not otherwise open to the public.
Desert X
Desert X is a region-wide contemporary art exhibit that takes place every two years during odd years. With installations all over the Coachella Valley, Desert X is a huge art festival that has been growing each year since it started in 2017. Port Royal Paradise is the perfect place to stay as it sits right in the middle of the valley with art exhibits all around!
